Roots & Wings - History & Mission

Roots and Wings, Inc. is a nonprofit organization of volunteers serving Sedgwick County with two programs devoted to achieving positive outcomes for children in crisis. Our mission is to provide caring, trained volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children of our community so that each child can reach his or her full potential.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Sedgwick County trains volunteers to advocate for foster children in juvenile court and helps guide them towards permanency.

The CRB (Citizens Review Board) allows volunteers to help children and parents identify the causes of truancy and re-engage students and families in educational success.
