Statement to the Court CEU

CASA Staff have developed a Statement to Court template to help advocates prepare a statement to the court should they be called upon by the Judge during their CASA youth's hearing. CASA Staff also plan to communicate this new process to Judges to encourage them to call on CASA more during hearings, in order to ensure pertinent information and key updates on a case are being communicated. This CEU will comprise of CASA Staff reviewing the Statement to Court template with attendees, and then there will be time allotted for CASAs to practice writing a statement to the court in a way that reflects their own writing style and voice. CASA Staff will be ready to answer questions and provide guidance on this new process!
