We promote and support quality volunteer experiences to help us achieve our mission of ensuring safe, permanent and nurturing homes for children.
CASA Volunteer: Advocate in court for an abused or neglected child. To make a difference in the life of a vulnerable child it only takes 2-5 hours per week. These children are court involved through no fault of their own and need someone there for them. Free training is provided.
To apply to be a CASA Volunteer please fill out and submit the Volunteer Form (link on the left under "PUBLIC").
CASA Ambassador: Help program staff spread the word about the good work of the Sedgwick County CASA Program by becoming a member of our speaker’s bureau. Help the CASA program grow in service to the approximately 1,200 children in our local court system. Assist in the recruitment of CASA program volunteers and provide child abuse awareness in our community.
CASA Mentor: If you are an experienced, certified CASA volunteer, you can provide peer mentoring and support to newly certified CASA volunteers.
Grant Writer: Are you a good writer? Eager to help a worthy organization locate new sources of funding? We would love to have you help us with this important function.
